Moving... across the yard

Well, we are finally moving into the old/new house! We have got most of the furniture and stuff in there today. I am sooo excited. It is definitely a little hard just moving stuff across the yard. You would think it would be pretty easy, but it's a little frustrating. I feel like it is taking forever. Anyways, I will be without internet for who knows how long because we are having to have WildBlue come and put a new satellite at the new house. I will be back shortly with pictures of the house though hopefully. I hope everyone has a great Fourth of July!!

Circus Pics, Take 3 (please work)

Whew, Another Week

Last week we had VBS. We had a good week. Steele loved Bible School. Every morning he would talk about Bible School and he was already ready to go. We had it at night this year and I think that made the week seem really, really long. I was the Craft person, so I pretty much had an easy week. I had lots of wonderful help and we made it through with no problems. Steele wants to go back, yesterday I said we were going to town and he said "Bible school".

*He loved the coke floats for snack, these last 2 pics on bottom. He was screaming ice cream. He also loved visiting with Ella Frances, the little cutie.

We had a great weekend. We had company Vicki, Kevin, and the boys were here. Steele was not sure about all the commotion at our house with 4 teenage boys plus his daddy acting crazy. We enjoyed our visit with them and hope to go and visit them soon.

Sunday, Gram took us to the circus in Tupelo. It was good. Steele was in awe from the minute we walked in to the arena. His favorites were the elephants and the white tigers. He also of course ate popcorn and played with his cars a little. We had a great time at the circus, THANKS GRAM!!

*I'm trying to load some cute scrapblog pages I did from the circus. Maybe they will work this time:)

Frogs, fishing, and fun with CoCo

Colton stayed with us one night this week and Steele loves it when he spends the night and plays with him. They swam and played on the swingset and then Colton found a frog. Steele did not know what to think about the frog. He has seen frogs but never actually seen someone catch one. He was squealing and laughing, it was hilarious. Colton was actually screaming and squealing too every time it would jump. I tried to get a video but my camera was dying. I

We also went fishing, which Steele didn't care for too much at the time. He was hot and of course had to go to the bathroom right when we got there. Colton caught one fish and Steele would hardly even look at it.

5 years...I can't believe it!

Today is our 5th anniversary. I can't believe it has been 5 years since the day we got married. We have been together almost 10 years. Wow, it really doesn't feel like that long. I just wanted to tell JP Happy Anniversary, even though I'm sure he doesn't even read this thing. He is working like a busy bee. He has been in the field all week and will probably be in it all next week. Which is great for us, that's why I can stay home with Steele. JP is a great guy, I love him so much. He is hilarious, for those of you who really know him, know that. He is quiet if he doesn't know you and he just says stupid off the wall things that make me crack up all the time. He is an absolute wonderful father to Steele, who is going to act just like him I'm afraid. Steele really misses his Daddy when he's working. I'm so happy to have spent five years with him already and are looking forward to many more.

Summer, Swingsets,Swimming Pools...

Here are some pics of Steele that I have been playing around with on Picasa, it's a free downloadable site where you can organize, edit, and post your pictures. These are some I took of Steele playing on his new swingset that his wonderful Gram bought him for his birthday. He loves to make the cars slide down the slide of course and he loves climbing up the wall and the slide. He thinks he is a big boy wearing Daddy's hat. He is very adventurous and this scares me at times. He is not scared to hang off things, climb whatever, and just walk off the steps of the swimming pool. I'm a little nervous about the coming years!

Here are a few pics from him swimming in his new giraffe pool. He loves the slide and says "ready, set, go" everytime he goes down. He played in it most of the day on Tuesday and didn't want to get out for me to clean it.

Eating goldfish in the pool and then letting them "swim".

Diet Coke and Dirt

Diet Coke and Dirt (lots of it), my son loves both of these things! Twice this week he has been extremely covered with red dirt. He is all boy and he loves to get dirty! We are currently working on a new dog kennel and Steele loves to play in the red dirt around it. He totally covers himself with red dirt when he chooses to play in it. I mean even his hair has a red tint to it when he gets done. He is such a mess, but I love laughing at him. He has just started asking for "coke" when someone else is drinking it. He still loves his juice, but he also likes coke a lot. I don't know if these clothes will come clean or not, but I guess I better go try:)

Great job Steele!!

Well, the little man did a great job in Jason and Carly's wedding Saturday. Not only did he look very, very handsome in his little tux. He walked all the way down the aisle following the flower girl with the pillow in one hand and four cars in the other (of course). He didn't make it through the whole ceremony, but what 2 year old could. I was very proud of him. He did growl at me a couple of times from the steps, told me no, and tried to pull some plastic up, but other than that it was all good. The wedding was beautiful as was Carly. I think John Paul and I were more nervous about the wedding than they were:) Of course, I took what pictures I could. Steele was really not in the picture taking mood. He did love his tux so much though that he wore it to church today. At least, I'm getting my money out of it.
