Roll Call...

I saw this on LT's blog a few weeks back and thought it would be neat to know who all was keeping up with our little family through the blog. If you are a regular reader or you just occasionally stop by, please leave me a comment:) Everyone loves to get comments! Thanks and I hope ya'll have a great rest of the week and weekend. I can't believe January is pretty much over already. Exactly 6 weeks from today, I will be having Baby Boy #2 by C-section if he doesn't decide to come before then on his own. Wow, can't believe it's almost time!

Sanctity of Life

Please click on the button on the right side of my blog to learn more about and sign the petition to fight FOCA that President Obama has promised to Planned Parenthood to sign when he gets into office. He said it would be the first thing he would do, though I have not seen where he has done it yet, I do feel as though he is planning on following through with the promises he made. This is Sanctity of Life week and right now thousands are marching on the Mall to show their feelings for this. I don't get into a lot of politics but this is something that I strongly believe in. Please just take a minute to read more about it and sign the petition if you feel so moved to.

You have to be very, very quiet!

Steele and Daddy went on their first hunting outing yesterday. Even though it was cold, this was the first time Steele actually agreed to go with John Paul so I thought he should go. They did go to a heated shooting house so he didn't get that cold. He also took his DVD player, cars, and animals so it was more of just a Daddy and Steele playdate than an actual hunting experience. Needless to say, he loved it. He keeps telling me "Shhh, you have to be very, very quiet." And John Paul said he was for most of the time, which is hard for him. He talks constantly, ALL DAY LONG! He also told John Paul that he saw a deer when they were coming out on the Kubota, so maybe he did. Here is a picture I took of them before they went. Hope everyone has a great Sunday afternoon and a great Monday. I'm off to the doctor in the morning:)

Come in Star Command...

I think Steele is going to be a movie quoter. He goes around the house saying things off of his DVDs. This morning it was "Star Command, Come in Star Command. Do you read me?" Maybe he's been watching Toy Story to much. He also says "to infinity and beyond" constantly. He thinks he is Buzz Lightyear.

He also loves to get in our bed and watch DVDs on his car DVD player before bed.
He also got a few tools for Christmas and he thinks he can fix anything. Daddy was actually fixing the door and Steele of course wanted to help.

Steele showing Daddy his tools.

Steele loves to cheese it up so it's hard to get a good pic.

As for everything else in the Brooks household, it's pretty normal. Well except for that I am going through the nesting phase of my pregnancy and can't quit cleaning. Steele's room is driving me crazy. I clean it at least 3 times a day. I have cleaned out all the drawers, all the cabinets, wiped down all the cabinets, and some other crazy things that I NEVER do on a normal basis. That and having 3 litters of puppies at the dog pen plus a 2 1/2 year old is wearing me out. I only have 8 more weeks to go though. I go to the doctor on Monday and then I start every two week visits. I am trying to get JP motivated to start rearranging furniture to bring in the crib, but that hasn't happened yet :)
