Painting, painting, painting!

I feel as if that is all I have done since we started remodeling. I guess I didn't realize how much work this was going to take. Floors are supposed to be put down and others refinished this week, I'm so excited. We are not too far away from moving in hopefully. Pretty boring week as far as everything else goes. We just played with puppies and played outside. Steele is talking up a storm! Yesterday was my sis's birthday. We ate crawfish Sunday night, they were great! I love crawfish. I hope you had a great birthday Casi! Pazli and Steele's are coming up. Yay!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears

Saturday was a great day. The weather was awesome so about 10:00 we decided to take Steele to the zoo. We were sitting around Sat. morning playing with Steele, talking about different animals ( he loves animals and the sounds they make!) and we up and decided to take him to the Memphis Zoo. It was a great trip despite getting lost and almost running out of gas. It was a gorgeous afternoon and a great day to be outside. Steele loved, loved, loved all the animals. He wanted to look at them again and again. His favorites were the polar bears, the rhinos, and the elephants. He loved the polar bears, we got to watch them swim right by us. It was pretty cool. I love to hear him say Rhinos. He said it pretty much all day. He is really starting to say everything we say. He said a lot of the animal names. He absolutely loved watching the animals. He also loved the water fountains. He didn't want to leave because he wanted to play in the water. It was a great weekend!!

ADDICTED already!!

OK, so I just found this blog thing yesterday and I'm pretty much already addicted. I love catching up on people that I haven't seen in forever, but by reading your blogs I feel like I know your whole story. I love it. So of course everyone in the house is asleep and I'm on the internet. Today was a normal day, nothing got accomplished on the house, had to drive to Eupora to the vet, and Steele was pretty good. He's waking up right now :( This is a pic of some of the puppies we have at the moment.

This is all new to me!

This blog thing is new to me, but it looked cool. It looks like a great way to keep up with people who I never get to see, but would love to. I am in the middle of huge project right now, remodeling John Paul's grandmother's house. It is about 90 years old and everything had to be repainted, restained, fixed, cleaned, etc., etc., etc. I am really, really excited about it but wish I could snap my fingers and it be done. I will post pictures when we get it finished, whenever that is. Here are some pictures of Steele. He is all BOY. You will see him frequently on here, because he is my life. I take tons and tons of pictures. He loves dogs, cars, bubbles, dirt, mudholes, playing outside, and juice. He keeps me on my toes all the time. I can't remember what I did before I had him.
